Panic Attack

In most instances panic attack often occurs without a warning. It is almost like an invisible force that just hits you at different places at different times without warning. An attack may sometimes be a one time occurrence but many people experience repeated attacks. This recurring attack may sometimes be triggered by things such as being in large gatherings, public speaking events or even just to meet a friend. Often times it is a case where one feels as if they are in danger.

Some people can cope with a Panic Attack while it makes others irritable, depressed and uncomfortable and may occur as part of another disorder like depression. However attacks are quite treatable. There are many treatments that can be utilized to deal with the symptoms.

An Anxiety Attack has no special time when they occur. It can happen at home, in your car, while shopping or even at work. The signs and symptoms of a panic attack occurs at a rapid pace and can last for up to half an hour.

A Panic Attack includes some of these signs and symptoms:

Chest pain or slight discomfort
• Sweating
• Dizziness, lightheaded or fainting
• Nausea or upset stomach
• Shortness of breath or hyperventilation
• Choking feeling
• Hot or cold flashes
• Fear of loosing control, of dying or going crazy
• Trembling or shaking
• And a sense of detachment from the environment

Despite the fact that the exact causes for an attack is unknown, this tend to become a family trait and often times appears to be connected to a series of occurrences like getting a new job and graduating. Not only that the death of a loved one or severe stress can also trigger an attack.
